Alvin Ernest Carpenter

Alvin Ernest Carpenter, 82 died Nov. 25, 2017 at Lake Park Nursing Center, Indian Trail, NC.  Al is survived by his partner of 44+ Don Hill, Charlotte, NC and niece, Pam C. Behler (Jim) of Erie, Co., his nephew, Richard A. Carpenter (Georgette) of Germantown, TN.

Al was an active member of Myers Park Baptist Church.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.  Employed by Equitable Life.  He was a member of the Dowd YMCA for many years.  A celebration of Alvin life will be held on what would have been his 83rd Birthday Dec. 7, 2017, 10:00 AM at Myers Park Baptist Church with the Rev. Joseph Aldrich.
