Bobbie Glenn Merrick

Bobbie Glenn Merrick, 93, of Charlotte, passed away Monday,  March 13, 2017 at her home. Born in Charlotte on June 25, 1923, Bobbie was the daughter of the late Robert and Carnelle (Yandle) Glenn . She attended Harding High School and graduated from Central High.  Mrs. Merrick was preceded in death by her husband  Ralph and her sister Carolyn Therrell.  Bobbie had been a resident at the Aldersgate Retirement Community for the past several years.
 
Mrs. Merrick is survived by her daughters, Lynn Merrick of Kapolei, HI, Nancy Dodd of Piedmont, SC; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
 
 A graveside services will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017, 1:30 pm at the Elmwood City Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care, 1420 E 7th St., Chlt, NC, 28204.
