Charles Peter Peterson

Charles Peter Peterson, 91 of Charlotte, passed away March 1, 2017 at his home. Born in New Haven, Connecticut on December 28, 1925, Pete as he was known to his friends, was the son of the late Peter and Sophia Yagenese Peterson.  Mr. Peterson was a self employed wholesale food broker. Chick accomplished  many things during his life. He worked at several interesting jobs. His family and friends will remember him as someone that enjoyed life.

Besides his parents, Mr. Peterson was preceded in death by a son Peter, who passed in 1977.  He is survived by his daughter Susan L. Peterson of Greensboro and son Michael Peterson of Charlotte.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 8th at 11AM at St. Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church,  5018 Kuykendall Rd, Chlt.  The family will greet friends immediately following the service.  Burial will take place in Evergreen City Cemetery.  In lieu  of flowers please make a donation to Friendship Trays, Charlotte, NC or St. Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church.
