Diane Susan Lavin

Diane Susan Lavin, 50 of Vancouver, WA. Formerly of Huntersville died Friday, March 10, 2017.  Diane, the daughter of Tom Lavin and the late Catherine Brill Lavin, was born in Midland Park, NJ. on April 29, 1966.

She attended Marywood College and graduated in 1988 from the University of Maryland, College of Journalism with a BS in Marketing and Advertising.  Diane worked for several newspapers across the country before becoming a professional dog groomer in 2008 and opening her own business “ The Groom’n Station”.

Besides her mother, Miss Lavin was preceded in death by her brother Michael Lavin, and her dog of 16 yrs, Simba.

She is survived by her father and stepmother Tom and Kaye Lavin, sisters Beverly (Dave) Johnson and Patty Brewster and fiancé Brett White.  Diane is also survived by her extended family and many friends across the US.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, March 19th at 2PM at Christ United Methodist Church, 8020 Bellhaven Blvd, Charlotte, with visitation to follow.
