An inspiring man who lived a life inspired, my earliest memories of my cousin Don was of a man on the move and always with a laugh and a smile...he made things happen. Don & Sue were always such gracious and welcoming people. Now together in heaven for ever, I love you both.

To the children of Don and Sue Adair please accept our condolences on the occasion of Don's death. Coming so soon after Sue's passing I am sure this is a heavy loss for all of you. Don was a great guy whom I knew from the time I was a little boy and he and Sue were close friends with my older brother Bob. I always admired Don as his jobs took him all over the country while he and Sue built their long marriage and formed their family. I remember his dad talking often about what a wonderful career Don was having and how many exciting things he was doing. Don was obviously a very gifted businessman and a thoroughly decent one at that. He knew how to live life to the fullest and enjoy it immensely. Rest assured that your father/grandfather not only had a long life, he had a very good and happy one as well and he was lucky enough to share almost all of it with the love of his life. His was clearly a life to be celebrated.

Joe and I spent years being close neighbors and friends of Don and Sue and the girls. Sue was the Godmother of our daughter, Allison. We tried to attend some of the celebrations we both had and to keep up with what was going on with the girls and their families. Sue and I were educators together. We loved the farm and visited there.
Please know that our deepest sympathies go out to you all. Your mother and dad were some of greatest and have left this world a better place.
Linda and Joe Roberts, Gastonia
