Oh Doug how I miss you. We spent so much time together and now you're gone. I know you are free from the pain you carried for so long. I wish so bad I could have helped you. Rest easy my sweet brother. I know I will see you again.

Dear Eleanor and Jerry, how saddened and shocked I am to learn of your loss. I know it is difficult to accept. I realize he was only 4 years older than Megan. The slide show was beautiful. What a beautiful happy child he was. The pictures hint at the wonderful memories you have. I remember how handsome, gentle, and polite he was in high school; and he grew into a movie star handsome man.
Love to you both and to your girls and your grandchildren.
It's sad how friends let so many years pass without contact as we have. Know that you'll be in my heart and prayers in the coming weeks.
Rest In Peace, Doug. Rest In Peace.

I was heartbroken when Bert called and gave me the news of your death. We spoke for a while about all the fun we had with you, the times you made us laugh so hard we couldn't breathe, the time you met us in Vegas when you were living in LA and, of course, the time you showed up to our wedding on two wheels in your Jeep ready to get it started. :)
Thank you for all the love and laughs. Until we meet again...

I worked with Doug for 5 or more years at SPEEDtv and it was the usual double shift on Sundays so we had a lot of time together laughing, telling stories, grabbing a bite to eat, and of course, working! What a genuine, all-around nice, kind-hearted guy! I would always say to him, hey Doug, I am going to record that deep sexy voice of yours as my wake-up alarm clock...it wiould say, "Good morning Mimi, it is time to get your sexy butt up and get in the shower! Hope you have a fantastic day Mimi!" He would get the biggest kick out of my idea!!! Love and hugs to all that were touched and knew Doug!!!
