I've only new Jimmy for about two years, but it feels like have known him my whole life. He was a character that always had something funny to say. My favorite is "I'll call ya if you need me". I miss hearing him whistle in the shop and seeing which car, truck, or van he decided to drive to work today. Please believe me when I tell you he will be missed here at the shop. My prayers are with your family.

Jimmy was great friend. I knew and worked with Jimmy over the past 27 years. He always had a fix and solution to the challenges thrown his way in equipping and keeping our vehicles operational and safe. I will truly miss the times and talks we were able to have about faith, family, work, and the vehicle hobby. Until we meet again my friend. God Bless

I was truly saddened to hear of the passing of a dear man. I will be out of town and unable to attend his service but wish to let the family know that Jimmy was a truly good person who always had a smile (with a toothpick firmly set) for his family, friends and surrogate family of city and police employees. I respected him greatly and trust that he will be working the Lord's garage. God bless your family and best wishes in this time of loss.

I feel blessed to have known Jimmy for nearly 30 years. He was a class act and a man that was respected by all. To know Jimmy was to love him. I never seen him when he wasn't smiling. I will miss you my friend.

Jimmy was always positive and helpful even if it meant diverting from what he was doing to assist. My dad and my Uncle both had garages in Charlotte for years (decades), and he knew both of them, so I always felt connected to him when we were around each other. You will be dearly missed by your family and those that knew you. My thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends. Goodbye for now my old friend until we meet again on the other side.
