John Henry Meyer

John Henry Meyer of Charlotte, NC died Sunday, September 25th, 2016.
John was born January 1, 1929, in Greenville, Ohio son of the late Albert and Mildred (Yaney) Meyer. He proudly served with the US Marine Corp, 3rd Battalion, 10th Marines during the Korean War as a Radio Operator.
He received his Manufacturing Engineering Degree from Purdue University. John and his wife Pauline relocated to Charlotte in 1972. John worked as a manufacturing sales representative for Duff-Norton. After retirement from Duff-Norton he kept busy with his real estate investments and enjoyed traveling.
John was a member of Providence United Methodist Church. He was also a 32nd Degree Mason member of The Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Ohio ~ St. Marys Chapter.
He was preceded in death by his wife Pauline, who passed in 2002 and his twin sister Jane Tullis, who passed in 2004. Surviving family members are his children Teresa (Eric) Harris of Denver, NC., John Michael (Mary Brown) Meyer of Charlotte; and grandson Spencer Meyer Harris of Raleigh, NC.
