Theodore "Teddy" Earl Renz tragically passed away on May 21, 2017 at Carolinas Medical center due to an automobile accident. He was born in Charlotte Nc at Presbyterian Hospital on Feburary 9, 1983. Most of his life was spent as a musician playing drums, guitar and various other instruments. His music ranged from alternative to heavy metal playing with such bands as, Sick Sanity, Bilaraby, Mindflow and so on. Teddy was well known for his style of drumming playing with his back to the audience and could be seen at Tremont Music Hall in the battle of the bands as well as headlining with other bands. Animals were near and dear to his heart having had many dogs, especially Sampson his favorite bassette hound and numerous guniea pigs. His Current canine friends, Piper, Sam, and Daisy look for him each day. He leaves behind his family, Mother Gail, brother Karl, cousin David, Aunt Caren, Grandfather George 97 years young, Neices Casey, and Sophia and nephew Gabe, Also the loves of his life Megan his Fiance and Jordan his stepson. He was predeceased by his father Leo, grandmother Dorothy and Great uncle Earl. Teddy was currently employed by Lionel Trains as a service technician. This job was especially dear to him as he and his brother grew up with Lionel Trains given to them by their father. 
The family would like to thank the staff on the 11th floor at CMC main Wade trauma center for their unselfish ways and wonderful care towards helping us through this difficult tragedy. 

Teddy's Celebration of life service will be at Carolina Funeral Service and Cremation center at 5505 Monroe rd. Charlotte NC on Friday May 26th from 6-8pm
