Bertram Nace Hanscom

Bert, son of Elliott and Addie Jarman Hanscom, was born May 22nd 1948 in Jacksonville, NC and died June 3,2017 after a long period of declining health. Following the family move to Charlotte from Onslow Co, NC he worked for Davey Tree Co, City of Charlotte Transportation and various construction jobs.

Bert is predeceased by his sister Bonita " Bonnie" Hanscom, his grandparents Nace and Lula Marshburn Jarman and Oscar and Susie Drake Hanscom, survived by his parents, brothers Terry and Dennis Hanscom of Charlott e, Aunt Lucy Jarman Parker and Uncle Charles Jarman of Jacksonville, NC aunts Eleanor Rafnell and Evelyn Spencer of Maine, Coralie Guerrizzi of Flori da and Uncle Richard Hanscom of Arizona.

Bert has donated his body to Wake Forest School of M edicine, Winston Salem, NC for medical research. The family wishes to thank Brian Center for their special care. In memory of
