I'm so sorry for your loss. George was a fine man, a patriot and hero (Police Officer). He had a wealth of friends who will miss him greatly just as you will. My condolences in this time of sorrow.

George worked as a bailiff in my courtroom. He was a friend--always pleasant, positive, and helpful. We had many interesting conversations over the years. He also helped me in my 2002 campaign for Superior Court. I am thankful to have known and worked with George. God bless his family during this sad time.

My sympathies go out to the family. He was a wonderful man who knew how to tell a story. We worked together on the Reserves the year before I went regular CMPD and then I saw him often at Cotswold. He will be missed

George will be very missed. He was a great mentor for me during my 18 years on the Reserve's and the 5 years on the Sheriffs Dept. He was always a great and fair person. I will miss him.

I met George 42 years ago when I joined the Charlotte Police Department and I was impressed by the way he carried himself and his friendly nature! He was a legendary figure in the Law Enforcement field and the best shot I every met. He was a regular at the Thursday evening gatherings and he will be missed!
