Grace (Bell) Willis

Grace Bell Willis, 91, of Charlotte, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at the Lake Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.   Grace was bornin Holly Hills, South Carolina on July 4, 1925 to the late James and Maize (Sweat) Bell. She relocated to Charlotte in 1998 and was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church.  She was an active member at the church and served on the telephone tree.  Mrs. Willis was also a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star
Besides her parents, Mrs. Willis was preceded in death by her husband James, who passed in 1995.  
Surviving family members are her daughter , Donna Faye Willis of Charlotte; half brother James Hester of North Charleston, SC; half sister Pauline Flowers of Eutawville, SC; brother James Bell of Washington, DC as well as several nieces and nephews.   No services are panned at this time.    Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
