Harriet Webster Obituary

Harriet Banbury Webster, 94 of Charlotte and Matthews, passed Jan. 21, 2019. Born in Danville, Ohio, she received bachelor and master degrees in chemistry from Ohio State Univ. She was married in 1947 to Richard D. Webster for 60 years. She had been employed by Chemical Abstracts in Columbus Ohio, and by Celanese and Duke Power Co. in Charlotte. She is survived by her daughter Daphne Webster of Matthews, and brother Thomas Banbury of Ashland, Ohio, and 6 nephews and nieces. Memorials may be sent to Unitarian Universalist Church of Charlotte, 234 N Sharon Amity Rd., Charlotte, NC 28211, where a Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at a to be announced date.
