Helen Blossom (Chrysafides) Bucknam

Helen Blossom Bucknam, 86, of Matthews, passed away on  September 1, 2019 at the Lake Park Nursing and Rehab Center in Indian Trail.   She was born on August 8, 1933 to the late Peter and Emma (Drouin) Chrysafides at Lake Charles, LA.  Helen worked as a Music Director for for several churches over the years.   Besides her parents, Mrs. Bucknam was preceded in death by her husband Willaim, who passed in 2014.  
 
Helen is survived by her children, Jean A. Sindelar, Lisa Marten, Leigh and William Bucknam
      
 Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 7th at 10AM the St. John Neumann Catholic Church.  Burial will take place in the Salisbury National  at a later date.
