Maurice W. Boire passed away peacefully on January 22, 2018 at 1400 hours under.
The loving care of Gastonia Hospice at Alexandria Place, Gastonia, NC.

Youngest Sergeant-Major in the Marine Corps.

Twenty four years active Marines plus six inactive with the guard period for a total of thirty years.
Retired from Miami Dade School Board as teacher/Media specialist.

Born May 29, 1925, he is survived by three children, two grandchildren, one great grandchild.
Preceding in death by his loving wife Hedwig and sister Anne.

Family will hold a Private Memorial Service.
