Judith Coker Reynolds, (Judy) left this world to be with her savior Jesus Christ on May 21, 2019 after a battle with cancer. She was born on September 3, 1941 in Lee County, SC to the late Woodrow and Margaret Coker.
Judy was 77 years old and a resident of Matthews, after living in Charlotte for many years. She devoted her life to being a wonderful wife, mother and grandma. She was an outstanding cook, an avid gardener, and loved spending time outdoors. She loved her family so much and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her grandsons.
Judy never met a stranger. Her sweet and friendly personality made those that came to know her feel loved and cared about. As a former Stephen Minister she was able to share her God-given talents on a spiritual level to those in need.
She was a member of Matthews United Methodist Church. She enjoyed the friendship and fellowship of her church family and looked forward to the weekly Seasoned to Perfection luncheons with friends. She also enjoyed spending time with many friends from Memorial United Methodist Church and St. Stephen United Methodist Church.
Judy was very strong in her faith and had a tremendous love for Jesus Christ. Her ability to share her faith with others was second nature to her. She touched many people's hearts and lives with her ability to minister.
Judy will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved her, but she is now in the loving arms of Jesus.
Judy is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert, her son Trip (Karen), her daughters Tascha Reynolds Ingram (John) and Tandace Martz (Charlie), her grandsons Zac Martz, and Caleb Reynolds, and her sweet poodle Zebedee.

A memorial service to celebrate Judy's life will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at: Matthews United Methodist Church, 801 S Trade Street, Matthews, NC 28105
