Roy was a cousin of my Mom, Dorothy Doyle, who spent time with him growing up at the old Carson homeplace near Commerce GA.
I always enjoyed seeing him at the historic Hebron Presbyterian church (in that same area) at Homecoming every August. The last one he attended was about 3 years ago, and I enjoyed sitting & talking with him- especially since Mom had passed away. I have a few pictures to remember him by- one precious one of him & Mom, and a couple of him administering communion there at Hebron. He was a delightful conversationalist, had a cute wit about him, and a twinkle in his eye!
His love for the Lord was unmistakable, and I will always remember this humble spirit...😢

Sorry for your loss. Lots of wonderful memories of Rev. Coker while he was pastor at Pleasant Hills. He helped me with bible study and helped me join the church.
