Toan Luong Minh

Toan was born in Hanoi, Vietnam.  She is predeceased by her parents, Ho Van Luong and Theu Dinh Thi. She is survived by Thomas Ramponi, Richard Ramponi, Isabella Ramponi and Alexander Ramponi, as well as additional relatives still in Vietnam.

Born and educated in an agrarian society of a very impoverished communist country, Toan was able to leave Vietnam in her early 20's and traveled to such European countries as Italy, France, Spain, Switzerland and England.  She also lived in Peru before she came to the United States in 2003.

Toan was an excellent cook, learning the many culinary recipes of the countries she visited.  She often prepared these dishes for her children as well as sharing her Vietnamese life and memories with them. Toan attended and graduated from the Southeastern Institute of Charlotte for Massage Therapy and Bodywork. She also worked as part of the faculty at the institute. She then proceeded to open her own massage business and continued to help others as she always did. Toan gave selflessly to anyone who needed help, was a wonderful friend, mother and hardworker throughout her life. 

A Memorial Service to Celebrate the Life of Toan Luong Minh will be held on Friday, June 18, 2017 between the hours of 6 -8 PM at Carolina Funeral Service and Cremation Center at 5505 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC.
