Warren John McBride Jr.

Warren John McBride, Jr. ended his earthly journey and slipped into the arms of his Heavenly Father on Thursday, November 16, 2017.  He was surrounded by his family as he passed away.  Warren was born in Easton, Pennsylvania on February 16, 1941 as the only child to the late Warren John McBride and Elizabeth Limeberry.   He is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Suzanne McBride.

Warren was a proud veteran of the US Army and frequently told stories of his Army days.  After his discharge from the Army, Warren lived briefly in Pennsylvania and Colorado, before moving to Salt Lake City, Utah.  Warren and Suzanne lived in Salt Lake City for many years where he worked as a building engineer and lock smith.  After retirement, they moved to Charlotte, NC to be closer to family.

Some of Warren’s favorite things were going to lunch with his priesthood group, making Home Teaching visits, and baking his bread to give to others.

Warren was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and loved doing genealogy work.

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 20, 2017 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 13925 Thompson Rd, Charlotte, NC from 10:30 to 11:30 with the funeral service following at noon.
