Abbas Keihani was many things. He was a loving, caring and a kind-hearted, gentle soul. Abbas was born in Abadan, Iran. He came to the United States in the early 70s, where he met the love of his life, his loving and devoted wife, Kathy. 

Over 44 years they shared many laughs, love and built a loving family including his beautiful daughter and grandson. 

Abbas will always be known for many wonderful things but one that’s undeniable was his generous and warm hospitality. No matter what the situation you would always find him cooking and dancing. 

The classic Abbas menu included many all time favorites: his famous rice, kabobs, samosa, wings and shrimp all worthy of their own Food Network special.  Everyone would agree that it was his secret ingredients of love and joy for life that made his dishes and parties memorable for all. He was the life of every party. When you walked in Abbas’ house there were three things guaranteed  you left with... a full stomach, lots of home cooked leftovers, and a heart filled with pure joy.

Abbas was also known for his green thumb. He could always be found in his garden tending to flowers, plants and many herbs. Weeds were his nemesis. 
Everyone in his life has at least one memory of him pulling weeds, watering the flowers or cutting herbs for the his next loving meal.

Our favorite memory of this amazing husband, father, grandfather and friend would be one of his contagious laughter, smile, and warm heart for all. 

One of his many achievements was becoming a US Citizen. 

He leaves behind a wonderful wife, loving daughter, Karen,  his "favorite" grandson, Kelby, and numerous family members and cherished friends. He will always be loved and greatly missed. Abbas will live on in the laughter, joy and endless stories told by his family and friends for the rest of time.

A gathering of Friends and Family will be held Sunday, February 24th, at Carolina Funeral Service & Cremation Center from the hours of 2-4:00 P.M.
