Born in Puerto Padre Oriente, Cuba on February 16, 1929. Immigrated to the US in 1961. Ana was a seamstress and sample maker in New York’s garment district where she retired in 1991. She had two children. She was a strong, loving, caring woman whose family meant the world to her.
Ana was a beloved Mother, and Mother in law to Zoila, Miguel, and JoAnn. Cherished grandmother, to Iliana, Rosie, and Damien.
In lieu of flowers and cards Ana had a request, She told Zoila, “when I die please tell everyone not to send flowers or cards or baskets, please tell them to make a donation to The Saint Jude Children’s Hospital. Those children have cancer and have hardly lived.”
Our family asks you to do the same in her name.
Mom, Abuelita, Doña Ana you will forever be in our hearts, your strength will keep us strong, and your memory will live in us everyday.
May Jehovah welcome you and may you Rest In Peace.
Please take a moment to write a few words or share a memory on the page or simply light a candle.
Ana’s family would like to thank everyone for your support, calls, notes, and texts at this difficult time.
Thank you from all of us.
Please note family request donations only...Due to no physical service
