Mrs. Anne Lucille Closson age 91, died on 11/26/2023 in Charlotte, NC. She was the daughter of the late Roy Cornelius and Leah Redinbo of Sidney, Ohio. 

After graduating from Sarasota High School in Sarasota, Fl, she attended Bliss Business College in Columbus, Ohio. Then, she worked as a secretary for seventeen years.  Later, after she became a mother, she devoted her life to becoming a full-time homemaker.

She had a gentle nature and loved her family and friends. She was a member of the Cokesbury Methodist Church in Charlotte, NC.

She had a lovely singing voice and was sometimes asked to sing solos in church.

Her interests included spending time with her grandchildren, swimming, sailing, gardening, a good mystery book, cooking and live theatre. 

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Roy Closson, her daughter, Dawne Rast, son-in law Monty Rast, step-daughter Valerie Rishe and four beloved grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday December 2, 2023 at 2PM  at the Carolina Funeral Service & Cremation Center, 5505 Monroe Road, Charlotte NC 28212.
