Charlotte, North Carolina - Chong Ye Martin, born December 17, 1937, in Miryang, S. Korea, passed peacefully on April 25, 2025, in Charlotte, NC. Daughter of late parents Chang Kyu Pak & On Yon (Yun) Pak. She was also preceded in death by brothers Chong Hwa Pak & Chong Tok Pak; sisters-in-law Yi Soon (Han) Pak & Kyu Eun Pak survive her as well as brother Chong Kuk Pak & wife Yi Soon (Bang) Pak. Surviving family are children Wayne Martin (w/Kelly Bullock) & Brenda (Martin) Macri (w/Julian Macri) and grandchildren Nicholas & Alexander Macri and Madison Martin. She is also remembered by 6 nephews & 2 nieces as well as family friend, Amanda Kidd-Walton. She was a self-made business woman (seamstress/upholsterer). 

Visitation will take place on Friday, May 2nd from 10-11AM at Carolina Funeral Service & Cremation Center, 5505 Monroe Rd, Charlotte.  A funeral service will follow at 11AM with Deacon John Kopfle officating.  Interment will take in Carolina Memorial Park-Harrisburg.
