Christina Frances (Urban) Skridulis

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith

   Christina Frances Urban Skridulis, age 96, passed away at Clear Creek Nursing Home on November 13, 2023.

  She is survived by her children: Catherine "Katje" Skridulis; Cindi Hunt and husband, Fred; David and wife, Marie; Mari Shepard; Sandra Phillips and husband, Richard; Joseph and wife, Heather.     

Christina was predeceased by her husband, Walter; son Jeffrey Alan and daughter Patricia Tanner.  She will also be mourned by her numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

    In addition to raising 8 children, Christina was a devout Catholic and was involved with volunteer work for many years before her health failed.  She was an avid tennis player for many years, loved to read, bowl, play scrabble and spend time with her numerous friends.

We will miss her positive attitude, her kindness and her uniquely special way of always being interested in our lives.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 13th at 11AM at St. Luke Catholic Church, 9800 Fairview Rd, Mint Hill. This will be at the new church campus.
