Daniel Joseph Dow

After a full and happy life, Daniel Joseph Dow passed away on May 4, 2025 at the age of 91 in Charlotte NC.

Daniel was born in Union City, NJ on April 8,1934 and was the son of Arthur and Josephine Dow of NJ.

He was the youngest of 7 siblings: Arthur, Ruth, Marion, Thomas Edward and James.

His family and friends will fondly remember the loving and great man he was and send him to a peaceful eternal rest.

Daniel, fondly known as Danny, enjoyed singing and playing the piano, playing bingo and cooking especially lasagne.

He leaves behind many broken hearts including his lifelong best friend and partner Stephen Prokop.

He is also survived by many nieces and nephews including Lori Dow-Moore of Vermont, Linda Shertel, Lois Dow Pannella 

JoAn Dow -Breslin of NJ, Cathy Dow of NY, Carol Rice of Maine and Herbert Green of FL.
