Elaine (Wilkins) Perkins

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of my beloved mother, Elaine Wilkins Perkins who passed away on Jan 19, 2025 at age 79. 

She was born April 11, 1945 in Charlotte, NC  She grew up in Charlotte NC in Plaza Midwood.She was a dedicated wife to Dennis Perkins which he passed away 10 years ago. She was a wonderful mother to her daughter Joy Harvey Pappas.

Elaine Perkins was a hard worker. She dedicated herself to her jobs.  She worked for Travelers for 35 years and another 10 years for Charlotte Radiology.  She loved being a grandmother and taking care of her grandchildren. She loved her many cats.  She had 4 cats when she passed.  Izzy, Pepper, Mickey and Stormy.

Elaine Perkins was a kind and generous soul, always putting others' needs before her own. Her love and compassion extended to those who knew her and she will be remembered for her loving and caring heart. She was always willing to help others in need.

She is Survived by  her sister Joy Crom, daughter Joy H. Pappas and 2 grandchildren Randy Balzer and Brooklyn Balzer  Grand-daughter-in law Cheyenne Balzer who will miss her dearly.
