Elizabeth E Locklare

Elizabeth E. Locklare of Charlotte passed away on July 9, 2025.  She joined all those she loved including her father Dudley Cecil, her motherAlice LeeAtkinsonLockare and her Lord who she loved more than life.  Professionally, she was a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, and also served in Pediatrics, Obstetrics, Home Health and Nursing Home Nursing.

She was a member of several Christian and civic organizations.  Volunteering, music and the people she met was the greatest joys of her life.  She believed that life is a song and God's love is the music.

Survivng are her "brothers" (cousins) T.E. (Mike) Atkinson, T.S (Tee) Locklair, Jr. as well as their spouses,children and grandchildren, plus her church family at Cornerstone Baptist Church.

For those who wish to attend her memorial service, it be held on Friday, August 1st at 11AM at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 8947 Albemarle Rd, Charlotte.  Memorials may be made to her church, Novant Homecare Hospice, Charlotte Rescue Mission, or to a charity of one's choice.
