She came into this world on June 13, 1963. Born at Mercy hospital in Charlotte Nc. She was proceeded in death by her mother Miriam (Mimi) Stewart and her father Roy Tipton Ellis. She graduated from Independence High School in 1981,Then graduated from Pheiffer University.
One of her first jobs was at the Charlotte Coliseum. Then Tj Max, then Camera Tech & Camera World. She finally landed in Charlotte Mecklenburg School System. She always said she wanted to somehow be able to help the children anyway she could. She accomplished this in the accounts payable dept and by volunteering to help title 1 students with their reading skills.
She was loved by so many and loved so many more. It was amazing to me just how far her reach was to everyone she knew. She was just a pleasure to know and love. Golden hearted to a fault. Completely about the children from newly born to 40 yrs old.
She so loved her whole family. She is sorely missed by all! Billy Pigg (husband) Kelsey Ellis(niece) Jeremy Ellis (nephew) Joe Ellis (brother). She holds a special place in all our hearts. I felt honored to be able to love her. As did we all!
In lew of flowers, donations to American cancer society greatly appreciated.
