1931 – 2025

 Ellie Wolters, age 93, of Gastonia, NC died peacefully with her daughters at her side on January 7, 2025.

 Ellie was born in the Netherlands on May 8, 1931 to Mient and Elsien DeVries. She was one of four children. She moved to the United States after marrying Jan H. Wolters in 1955 and had six children.

She was preceded in death by her Husband Jan H. Wolters, Son Jan M. Wolters, Son Michael S. Wolters, and Son in Law, Rod P. Sigler.  She is survived by her Son Luke Wolters (Daughter in Law Cindy), Daughter Ellien Kjeldsen (Son in law Ron), Daughter Cindy Sigler and Daughter Chris Probst (Son in law Dennis) along with extended family in the Netherlands. She had 11 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren who she cherished.

Celebration of Life service is scheduled for Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Christ the King Church, located at 13501 S. Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC 28278.

Service will begin at 2:30 PM, with repast to follow. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Samaritans Purse.
