Gladys (Ramirez) La Rosa

Gladys  La Rosa, 85, of Monroe, passed away on  February 13, 2023 at the Pruitthealth Union Point, Monroe, North Carolina.   She was born on August 9, 1937 to the late Quentin Ramirez and Juanita Santiagoof Brooklyn, New YOrk. Gladys was a homemaker  and was married to the late Steven La Rosa.  Prior to moving to Monroe, Galdys and Steve had resided in New Jersey.  
  
Mrs. La Rosa is survived by her  son, Stephen  La Rosa of York, SC; daughter, Maria La Rosa of Staten Island and 2 grandchildren
  
 Visitation will be held  at Carolina Funeral Service & Cremation Center, 5505 Monroe Rd,  Charlotte,  from 10AM-1PM on Saturday Feb. 18th. and on Tuesday February 21st from 5-9 at the John V. Scalia Funeral Home, Staten Island.  Burial will take place in the Calverton National Cemetery.
