Gloria Beth Petrie (Beth) age 71, of Indian Trail, North Carolina, passed away on June 16, 2021 at Novant Matthews hospital.
Beth was born to Agide A. Petrie and Dorothy May Perry Petrie on November 4, 1949 In Charlotte, NC.
Beth graduated from Central Piedmont Community College with a nursing degree. She worked as an RN at Charlotte Memorial Hospital in the 1970's and then for The Red Cross for many years until her retirement.
Beth is survived by four siblings: Mary Jean Maples (husband Bill Rambo), JoAnne Mayhew (husband Rodney), Michael Petrie (wife Charleen), and Anna Nichols (husband Raymond). Beth was preceded in death by one brother- Geno Petrie. Beth also has many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
Beth loved singing, boating and water skiing, cross stitch, gardening, and her many beloved chihuahuas. She was well loved and will be greatly missed. She leaves behind wonderful memories that will live on forever in the family.
