Guiju Jing (Grace)

Guiju (Grace) Jing was born on October 31, 1968 in Shanghai, China. She graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology in 1991. After graduating, she joined Shanghai Petrochemical Corporation as Deputy Director of Foreign Language Training. In 2000 she joined Intel China as manager in the training department to set up the Intel University China campus. During that time, she also completed her MBA degree from Rutgers, State University of New Jersey. From 2005 to 2012, she had a successful professional career working as Training and Development Manager for Andrews, Asia-Pacific Training and Development manager for Dow Chemical, Senior Manager of Learning Development for Walt Disney Greater China, Global workforce Manager for Singapore Sateria Holdings and senior Asia Pacific Organization Development Manager for Visteon. In 2014 after relocating to the U.S., she joined the Association for Talent Development as Senior Education Project Manager for Global team. During her career, she received multiple outstanding employee awards. She was highly respected and loved by all her colleagues. The most common comments from colleagues and friends were that she was very reliable, considerate and efficient. People could always count on her.

 Grace found her soul mate and partner for life in 1995, when she married Xiaofeng Guo. In 1999, they welcomed their precious daughter Xinyi Guo into their lives. Grace was a great mother and wife. She always kept the house very clean and organized and prepared various delicious food for the family. She would get up at 5:30 am so that she could cook hot meals for her daughter before she went off to school. Even when Grace was sick, she still made great efforts to make her husband his favorite dumplings.

Grace was a great daughter to her parents and parents-in-law. She always made great efforts to visit them, cook for them and bring them many thoughtful gifts. She purchased an apartment for her mom so that her mom could have a place of her own and stay close to Grace’s sister. In the last two weeks of Grace’s life, she was so weak and could barely speak, but she still remembered her mother-in-law's birthday and called her to wish her happy birthday.

She actively participated and supported a charity project “I Fly”, which provided trainings to rural teachers. She not only donated money, but also contributed time and ideas. Other volunteers were always impressed by her passion and creativity. Her efforts supported the programs to provide training to thousands of students in the rural areas to pursue their dreams.

She was a person full of love. She loved her family, her jobs and had a strong sense of social responsibility. Her life was short but full. She is survived by a loving husband of 25 years Xiaofeng Guo and a daughter Xinyi Guo who is attending MIT.

景桂菊 （Grace Jing）生平

 景桂菊于1968年10月31日出生。1987年考入哈尔滨工业大学，1991年毕业后在上海石化工作，担任外语培训副主任。2000年加入英特尔（INTEL）中国，担任培训部经理，筹备组建INTEL大学（中国区）；其间也完成了MBA学位。2005-2012年间，她先后任职美国安德鲁(ANDREW)培训及发展部经理，美国陶氏化学（DOW CHEMICAL）亚太研发部学习发展经理，华特迪士尼(Waltdisney)大中国区学习发展部高级经理，新加坡赛得利(Sateria)控股公司全球人力管理，美国伟世通（Visteon）亚太高级组织发展经理。2013年辞职赴美生活，后于2014年入职 Associate for Talent Development，担任培训部经理。她不仅对自己负责的工作内容一丝不苟，更是全力支持、帮助团队成员。同事朋友对她最多的评语便是她“负责”“高效”，“总替别人考虑”。无论在哪家公司，她都屡屡获得出色员工奖。

在家她是一个好母亲，好妻子。把家里前前后后打理得井井有条，饭桌上煎蒸煮炒饭食饺子都是不在话下。她关心家人，不辞辛劳——女儿六点半上学，她便五点半就早早起床为孩子准备早餐和午餐，老公喜欢吃她做的饺子和粽子，生病期间还为老公包饺子粽子；孝敬长辈——出国前，她逢年过节总是提着大包小包去妈妈家、公婆家，陪他们做饭、聊天；出国后，挂念妈妈的她买下了大姐家楼下的房子让母亲住，既方便大姐照顾妈妈，也让老人有个自己的空间。在生命的最后两周，她身体弱得说话都吃力，却依旧记得婆婆的生日，打电话给婆婆祝生。她也热心公益事业——为“爱飞翔”乡村教师培训公益活动捐钱出力，挤出时间多次培训志愿者。“爱飞翔”的组织者们都称赞她有条理、点子多；她的爱心也助力“爱飞翔”为成百上千名中国乡村学生插上了梦想的翅膀。

 她是一个热爱生活，热爱家庭，认真工作，有大爱之心,有社会责任的人。
