Helen Margot Ebert Servicky was a shining star to her family and friends. She was active in her church with the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, the 50+ club, the Republican Party, and Red Hats. When not traveling with her beloved husband, Ed, who preceded her in death, she was always planning some sort of party for friends and family. She enjoyed her life, great conversations, and helping anyone in need, if she could. A child of the 30's, she mastered the art of being frugal by using and reusing things.
Helen was not only someone with a wealth of knowledge, but if you needed something, she had it in her ‘warehouse’. Helen always had a smile on her face when she saw you and loved to chat about whatever was going on in your life, or life in general. Helen's work on earth was completed Christmas Eve, 2020, when she went to be with our Lord. We will miss her smile, but we have truly been blessed for having known and loved her. Besides her husband Ed, Helen was preceded in death by her son Edward J. Servicky, Jr.
She is survived by her children Robert, Allen (Pati), Connie Kovach (Kim), and Ronald; grandchildren Lisa D. Whitley, Christopher J. Servicky, Neil Kovach, Alex Kovach, and Laurel Shambley. Also surviving are her great grandchildren Ariel Whitley, Ashlyn Kiser, Zachary Kiser and Oliver Shambley. Mrs. Servicky will also be missed by her friends, who she enjoyed working and socializing with.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 9th at 11AM at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, Idlewild Rd, Charlotte. Helen will be laid to rest at Sunset Memory Gardens., 8901 Lawyers Rd, Mint Hill, NC
