Janet Lynn (Boovy) Dawson

Mrs. Dawson, 67 of Charlotte passed away Nov 1, 2023 surrounded by her family. The daughter of the late Robert Winfield Boovy and Ann Taylor Boovy, Janetwas born in Charlotte January 15, 1956. A graduate of Myers Park High School in 1974 Janet retired from Bellsouth Telecommuncations with 33 years of loyal service. Janet shoud be remembered for her love of warm weather, spring time flowers, the sandy beaches of South Carolina and tomatoe sandwiches, a good glass of ice tea, Carolina Panthers football on Sunday afternoon and final round of golf,Tarheels basketball and most of all Emily, the greatest joy of her life. Janet is survived by her husband Darrell H Dawson, daughter Emily D Axley, husband James M Axley, two grandchildren Gracie Ann Axley and Marcus James Axley all of Charlottte.
