Jill Burrows Hagler

   June 24, 1957-July 23, 2025

Jill went to sleep and opened her eyes to be with The Lord in Heaven on  Wednesday, July 23, 2025.  She was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on June 24, 1957 to Clarence and Peggy Davis Burrows.  She married the love of her life, Steve Hagler on August 29, 1981.  She loved her family and friends and cherished her time with them. 

Jill was so much fun to be around and enjoyed her life.  She was very creative, a gourmet cook, enjoyed crafting, a gifted seamstress, gardener and detailed planner for many trips to Disney.  She fought many serious health battles during her life and the most recent one with heart failure took her life, but not her spunky personality. She loved to dance, sing and performed several years with NarroWay Productions. 

She was employed by Carolina Brace Mfrs., NationsBank and retired from Level Four Orthotics and Prosthetics.  Jill loved her kitties Peanut, Biff, Rupert and Winnie. They were her special children. 

Mrs. Hagler is survived by her husband Steve Hagler; son Matthew Hagler; daughter Diana Hagler and her partner Arturo Yanez; grandson Nayar Joshua Yanez Hagler (Moonpie).  She is also survived by her sisters, Paula Burrows Fulk and husband Tommy, Tammy Burrows Bruun and husband Earl; brother in law Randy Hagler and wife Vivien, sister in law Donna Hagler McGraw and husband Roger, numerous nephews and nieces.  Jill is preceded in death by her parents, father in law Marvin Hagler, mother in law Barbara Hagler, and her son Joshua Michael Hagler.

A Celebration of Life Service for Jill will be held Monday, July 28, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Hickory Grove United Methodist Church, 6401 Hickory Grove Rd., Charlotte NC with reception to follow.

Memorials may be made in her honor to Hickory Grove UMC, (HGUMC Room at the Inn) 6401 Hickory Grove Rd, Charlotte, NC, 28215  or the charity of your choice.
