John A. Rousseau, 83 of Mint Hill, North Carolina passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 7th, 2019 at Harris Hospice- Charlotte, North Carolina. Born in Buffalo, New York on February 3, 1936, John was the son of the late Raymond and Dorothty McCracken Rousseau. He proudly served in the US Air Force during the Korean War and was a Millwright for General Motors, retiring in 1997 after 19 years of service. Mr. Rousseau had previously worked as iron worker and was a member of Local 6. In his early career he had worked for the Buffalo Evening News.. Jack enjoyed photography, wood working and carpentry and was an avid gardener. He had passion for learning. He will also be remembered for his quick wit and sense of humor. Jack is survived by his wife Georgina :"Gina",;sons John, Jr. and Paul. and grandchildren Katlyn and Adam. Also survived by his sister Joan Spencer and brother Raymond Rousseau. Services will be held at a later date at Woodlawn Cemetery, Orchard Park, New York. "He will be missed by those who loved him"
