Joseph George Devlin

Joseph "Joe" George Devlin, 85, of Charlotte, North Carolina, formerly of Hollis NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, 13 September 2025.

Born in Queens, NY on Friday 2 August 1940 to Marjorie Hollman and Joseph Michael Devlin, Joe graduated from St. John's with a B.S. of Pharmacy. He then used his medical background to embark on a Computer Engineering career involved with hospital technologies and software. He was known for staying connected with friends and family around the country via phone and email conversations.

He was a proud father, grandfather/boppy, and great-grandfather. He loved sharing both devotionals and school supplies. He will be remembered for his generosity.

Joseph Devlin was preceded in death by both parents, his younger brother Raymond Devlin, and eldest child Lisa Hannan.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Judith Devlin; his sister Barbara Annastas; his children, (Terry) Hannan, Amy (Chris) Thomas, Michael (Daisy) and Andrew Devlin; his six grandchildren, Kyle (London), Jessica, Kory, Jenna, Kaci, and Elijah; and his three great grand-children, Graham, Quinn, and Melani.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Church on Saturday 20 September 2025 at 10am with visitation beginning at 9am.

A funeral service will be held at a later date and time.
