Julius Keziah

Captain Julius Walter Keziah, (CFD, ret.) 77 of Charlotte passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019 at the Harris Hospice of Novant Presbyterian Hospital Main. Born in Charlotte on October 13, 1942 Julius was the son of the late Benjamin Lewis Keziah and Letha Mae (Sanders) Keziah. He was educated in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System, and served with the Charlotte Fire Department until his retirement in the mid 9o0s. Julius was a Captain and also served as a Chief's Assistant.

Besides his parents, Mr. Keziah was preceded in death by his daughter Kathy Ann, and brother Wayne.

Surviving family members are his wife Chichi, sons Gary and wife Renita, and Greg and wife Renae, 4 grandchildren Ashley, Zach, Trent and Devin a1 great granddaughter Kyleigh-Ann.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 12th from 11AM-12:30PM at Hickory Grove Baptist Church with a funeral service to follow at 12:30. Interment with Charlotte Fire Department Honors will be in Evergreen city Cemetery.
