Lambros George Zaharopoulos

Lambros George Zaharopoulos, 86, of Charlotte, passed away on  March 25, 2025 at the Novant Presbyterian Hospital, Matthews, North Carolina    He was born in Agia Vlaherna Evrytanis " Irkista" Greece on January 25, 1939 to the late George and Eloeni (Katsanos) Zaharopoulos. 

Lambors and his wife Androniki, son George and daughter Eleni moved to the United States in June 1970. He was the former owner of Tanner's Restaurant and Niki's Kitchen, and was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
  
Mr. Zaharapoulos is survived by his son, George ( Maria) Zaharopoulos, daughter Eleni Zaharopoulos,  3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, brothers and sisters living in Greece as well as several nieces and nephews
  
Besides his parents, Lambros was preceded in death by his wife Androniki , who passed in March of 2020.  
      
 Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 2nd , at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Charlotte, NC, with  the Trisagion Service starting at 11AM with a Funeral Service to follow at 12 Noon.,   
 Burial will take place in the Evergreen City Cemetery.
