Lucian James LaJoie

Lucian James LaJoie of Charlotte, NC, passed away on August 8,2021.

He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.

After his discharge, he worked as a tool and die operator for many years. He created many pieces of art using his technical skills as a machinist.

He also wrote a book about his experiences in Vietnam.

Lucian was witty, and definitely had a sense of humor. He loved to tell jokes and had a phenomenal  memory of facts and trivia.

He leaves behind beloved family members and close friends.

Lucian will be buried in Salisbury National Cemetery, September 15th, 2021 at 2:00 PM
