Margaret (Sheridan) Kuhn

Margaret Sheridan Kuhn died at her home on September 27, 2022.  She was born in New York City on March 8, 1934 to Margaret and Bernard Sheridan and moved to Charlotte in 1970.  A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was also a certified public accountant, retiring from Geo. G. Scott & Company in 1998.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Mary Alice Grant and Anne M. O’Connor, her brothers, Francis X. Sheridan and Bernard M. Sheridan, Jr., and a sister, Catherine Sheridan, who died in infancy.

She is survived by her beloved husband of sixty-five years, John B. (Jack) Kuhn; her daughters, Catherine Kuhn (Glenn Tortorici) and Margaret Bodie (John); her sons John, Jr. (Leslie), Edward (Kimberly), and Lawrence (Lisi); her ten grandchildren Michael (Karli), Andrew, Jessica (Emmitt), Baker, Alexander, Samantha, Alli Marie, Anabelle, Avery and Aidan; three great-grandchildren, her sister Rosemary Durkin, and many dearly loved nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Luke Catholic Church, Mint Hill, NC on Friday October 21 at 11 am, followed by a reception at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Holy Angels, Belmont NC, or St. Luke Catholic Church.
