Michol Ann Little, 74, of Matthews North Carolina, passed away on May 23, 2021 in her home with all of her family by her side. She was born to parents Louis and Martha Jean Robertson on February 5, 1947 in Nashville Tennessee. Michol Ann graduated from South Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte North Carolina and went on to college to finish her Bachelors and Masters Degree. Michol Ann received her General Contracting license in multiple states but focused her love for construction here in the Carolinas.
Michol Ann is survived by her four children and their spouses, Daymon and Karen Little, David and Mary Jo Little, Jason and Lauren Little and Nancy and Brindin Taylor, her brother Louis Robertson, Jr and her sister Vickie Meacomes. She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren, Noah, Emily, Skyler, Fisher, Kaitlyn, Sophie, Greyson, Josh, Asher, Gabe, Micah, Shiloh, Anniston, Salem, Jordan and Peyton.
Michol Ann was a Christian who laid those same Christian roots down for her children from birth. She was a hard-working entrepreneur and believed entrepreneurship was an effective way to allow her flexibility to raise her children simultaneously with doing something she loved. Projects were like puzzles to her and every one seem to bring her a new level of excitement. She shared her wealth of knowledge of construction and business management with all her children as they too at some time worked for the family business she built. Michol loved animals and any opportunity she had to rescue them or contribute to their wellbeing. She loved to work in her yard and if she could have had a garden forever, she would have never gone indoors. She loved the beach and had dreams of living there in her retirement days. The ocean and the waves were a source of peace and calm for her and a place where she could release worldly stress. Michol was a giver, and a fighter for those less fortunate and always had some extra space in her heart to help anyone in need. Michol Ann measured her success by the success of her offspring. With that, Michol Ann was immensely proud of her children, the parents they had become themselves and all her grandchildren and their accomplishments. She leaves behind wonderful memories that will live on forever in the family. May she now rest in peace, pain free, in heaven with the Lord.
