Carroll Leanard Dorsey - Squirrel is an extraordinary man. He is strong, giving, hilarious , persuasive, energetic, brutally honest, direct. He is a great debater, has a wicked sense of humor, and he is an awesome provider. He is reckless, mean, aggressive, friendly, stubborn, a dare-devil, nosey, hard headed. He is a lot!!!

He is a complicated man who you just can't get enough of. He's so much fun to be around. He refuses to be unnoticed wherever he happens to be at the time. Every day is an adventure.

He is going to be missed but never forgotten. I don't believe he will let us forget him.

You will hear his laughter or how passionate he could be discussing some mundane topic that he made all important or remember his weird logic. I promise Squirrel will pop into your mind often. He did so many hilarious things. he would say something to make you so mad and than have you laughing in the next minute . He made so many famous statements I love you and there's nothing you can do about it and when it's time to go gotta go and when we run out of money ...what are we gonna do ...get some more.

He never met a stranger! He aggressively makes an impact on every one he meets. Either you loved him or you didn't want anything to do with him. He has a very dominant personality.

Squirrel has moved on but he is never going to be forgotten. He is not going to let you forget him. We have too many stories he left us with. We know he loves to tell a good story.

Squirrel always cared about other people more than he cared for himself. He loved his family. He is so proud of his four boys. Carroll L. Dorsey Jr. - Baltimore MD, Christopher L. Dorsey - Baltimore MD, Charles B. Dorsey - Los Angeles CA, William L. Dorsey - Charlotte NC. He didn't wanna leave us but he gave everything he had. His strength was amazing to watch. He never complained.

He took care of us and will continue to do so. He lived his life worry- free, happy and reckless saying what he wanted to say and doing what he wanted to do. From going to the flea market, repairing shoes, riding in his Jaguar with the top down in the cold, and collecting his precious coins.... he is an extraordinary man we love so much.
