Ann Farmer

Georgia Ann Farmer, 75, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, peacefully graduated to the next life Wednesday, July 1, 2020. Ann was a
native of Athens, TN, but had called the Charlotte, NC area home for nearly fifty years. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Hilda Clark of Hialeah, FL. She
was preceded in death by her brother David Leach and his wife, Carol. She was also preceded in death by nieces Lisa Fenton, Karen Coleman, nephew Jeffrey Fenton,
and stepson David Farmer.

Ann is survived by her husband, Roland (Buck) Farmer, sister Sandra Leach Breault, son Todd Van Der Meid and wife Noelle, son Darren Van Der Meid, and wife
Kimberly, daughter Lori Rogers and husband, Rick, stepchildren Vicky Smith and husband Vince, Franklin Farmer, and wife Julie.

Ann loved her role as Nana and is survived by grandchildren Brittany Quick and husband Jarret, Amanda Gibson, Lauren Gibson, step-grandchildren Bryan, and
wife Dejah, Landan Farmer, Brennan Farmer, Emerson Farmer, Nana was blessed by great-grandchildren, Allison Kaylee Lee, step-great-grandchildren Ahmir Evans,
Syah Wall, and Bria Farmer.

Ann enjoyed working with ceramic bisque, hand painting lifelike dolls, and heirloom pieces. She was an entrepreneur, starting and operating several home-based
businesses. An avid sports fan, Ann could be found in her seat for home games, cheering for the Carolina Panthers or at home correcting the officials at a distance.
Ann enjoyed investing herself in the lives of others, inspiring and encouraging others to grow and be successful. She touched many lives and will be dearly
missed. 

Ann will be laid to rest in a graveside service at Sharon Memorial Park 5716 Monroe Rd, Charlotte, Monday, July 6, 2020, at 1 PM.
