Olga Margaret Rivera Ramirez

Olga Ramirez passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on April 25, 2023. Olga was the daughter of Lucy and Augusto Rivera. She was born in New York City where she met the love of her life, Tony, when they were children living in the same neighborhood. She and Tony were happily married for 74 years. She was the mother of two sons, 4 grandsons, one great granddaughter and 4 great grandsons.

Olga ran an insurance agency in Hialeah, FL, and eventually bought the agency which she owned and operated until her retirement. After retiring she and Tony moved to Melbourne, FL, where they resided for many years. After retiring Olga took up crafts where she showed her true talent from making dolls, to painting Christmas ornaments, birdhouses, floral paintings and so much more. They eventually moved to Charlotte, then Jacksonville, FL, and finally back to Charlotte where they spent their remaining years as residents of the Pavilion Skilled Nursing @ Brightmore.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Alfred and Richard. She is survived by her brother Robert, sister-in-law Rachel, sons Tony Jr (Joan), Joseph, grandsons Todd (Robyn), Jason (Tina), Jamie (Starr), Christopher; great grandchildren Madison, William, Rhys, Myles and Noah.

Olga will forever be missed by all those who knew and loved her. The family takes comfort in knowing she is in Heaven with her love Tony.

A Committal service for Olga will be held at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery (Lane A), where she will be placed next to Tony on June 16, 2023 at 10:00 A.M.
