Pamela Claire Callahan

October 5, 2023, Pamela Claire Callahan, 78, of Charlotte, NC, passed away peacefully at home with her beloved family by her side. Her family is deeply saddened by her sudden death.

Pam is survived by two daughters, their spouses, seven grandchildren and one great grandson. They include her daughter Michelle Dobert, (Mark Dobert), Kim Harrington (Traci Harrington), grandchildren Ryan Dobert, Cory Dobert (Summer Dobert), Amanda Dobert, Tori Merrill, Brandi Merrill, Jonathan Merrill and Shane Merrill. Pam also had a new great-grandchild, Austin Dobert (Cory/Summer).

Born March 13th, 1945 to Mable and John Digman, Pam lived the majority of her younger life in Schenectady, NY with her six siblings John Digman, Donna Jennette, Ron Digman, Karen Digman, Craig Digman & Bonnie Lauder.

Pam had a big heart and always wanted to help her family. She was a private and quiet person, but also very witty and fun! She was fearless and independent, yet sensitive and incredibly compassionate. She was strong-willed and stubborn, but those traits defined Pam. They were part of who she was, and her strength undoubtedly helped her deal with life’s challenges. She was also actively involved in St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital by donating any money she could spare.

To honor Pam’s wishes, there are no services planned. A celebration of life will occur with details to be determined.
