Patricia "Patti" Ann (Powell) O'Connor

Patricia (Patti) Ann Powell O'Coonor passed away peacefully on Sunday May 14th at home with her loving partner Gabe Blythe and son Stefan Domagalski by her side. Patti was a native Charlottean, born December 3, 1946 to James and Bertha Powell. Patti graduated from West Meck H.S. and earned her B.S. degree in nursing from UNCC in their first graduating class.

Patti worked in nursing and healthcare at various places over her career and ultimately retired from Humana.

Patti enjoyed being outside when the weather warmed and enjoyed gardening as well as bird watching. Her favorites were cardinals who she always said were her Angels looking over us. She loved being by the water in the in the summer whether it was the beach or swimming pool where she worked very hard on her much needed tan.

Patti will always be remembered for the kindness, sweetness, love and warm smile she shared with all!

Patti is preceded in death by her daughter Sara Domagalski and survived by her son Stefan Domagalski, her sisters Donna McRorie and Debbie Aldridge, a host of nieces and nephews and her partner Gabe Blythe.

Patti is no longer here physically but will always be remembered on this this Earth as long as we say her name and remember the compassion and love she gave and shared with all of us. Sweet Patti, you'll always remembered!!!
