Paul Henry Allen

Paul Henry Allen, born May 19^th,1947 and passed away on Sunday, February 7^th, 2021. He had been in the hospital several days with irregular heart rhythm, fluid on his lungs and periods of low and high blood pressure.

Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Mary “Polvason” Allen and Carl Allen.  During his life on earth, he worked at several jobs in California before coming to Raleigh, NC where he worked as the Assistant to the Department of Radiology @ Central Prison.  During later years, after moving to Charlotte, he worked at Mecklenburg Board of Elections as Chief Registrar, Mecklenburg County Women's Commission as Administrative Assistant to the Director with Bank of America as Administrative Assistant to several managers and Vice-Presidents, and currently was working at Hendrick Motors of Charlotte Valet/Porter.

Paul loved singing in Robert's choirs, visiting people, cooking, and baking and sharing with others his special cooked recipes. Paul was well respected by his friends, co-workers, and acquaintances. He never met a stranger and was always willing and ready to help in whatever way was needed. He had a likable smile, and you knew who he was and what he was about from the first time you met him. He will be missed by many but left this worldly space to go to his well-deserved heavenly home. Well-done good and faithful servant! A memorial service will be held in later days.
