Robert Bruce Bryan, Jr.

Robert Bruce Bryan, Jr. of Charlotte, NC completed his journey on earth on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at the Tucker House in Kannapolis, NC.  Bruce was born on 6-15-1931 in Asheville, NC., and spent his early years exploring all the blue hills had to offer.  

He is survived by his three children, Paula Matthews, Michelle Kelly and Robert B. Bryan, III and sister Mary Marshall.  He was preceded in death by wife, Virginia B. Bryan and his parents, Robert and Dora Bryan.  

After leaving the Navy as a Gorman, Robert worked as a pharmacy technician at his father’s drug store in Belmont, NC.  After retiring from the drug store, he began a second career at Harris Teeter, where he eventually retired for good.  Bruce enjoyed working crossword puzzles endlessly, reading and watching National Geographic and History channels.  

Private graveside services will be Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 11:00 at Sharon Memorial Cemetery.  Social Distancing will be practiced.
