Rosalyn Martin

Rosalyn Martin passed away January 1st, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. 

Rosalyn Martin was born on July 28, 1956 to Ethelmae Hawkins and Herbert Benjamin. She graduated from Jane Adam's Vocational High school in New York. 

Rosalyn exemplified strength and perseverance to those who loved her. And in this time she would probably want us to be strong and take care of each other. All she ever wanted was the best for her friends and family. Instead of a funeral service she wanted a party thrown in her honor signifying how loved she was. 

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren whenever she could. Her memory lives on through her children as well as her grandchildren: her daughter, Cherisse Deschamps and her son William Fain; her grandkids Isaiah Walker, Emmanuel Walker, Kiara Walker, Jade Walker, Shawn Gill, Roseleah Deschamps, Marcelia Gill, Josalyn Johnson, and Joy Johnson.

May she rest in peace surrounded by eternal love and care.
